The nation's sweetheart, Zvezda first came into the spotlight as a cosmonaut. Her career wasn't particularly groundbreaking, as she only participated in a few space station missions - she was more recognised for her astounding beauty.
After her cosmonaut career, she began working as a model and actor, taking roles in mostly sci-fi settings. She quickly gained a lot of attention and became somewhat of a household name, being invited to a lot of official gatherings and even presenting some major events.
Zvezda is very easy-going and optimistic, if a little naïve. Though her face has been used to promote almost any item imaginable, she hasn't let her fame go to her head. She was raised in Soviet times and still has a strong ethic of community and helping others.

Zvezda's birthday is a reference to the day on which she was first designed.
Zvezda's original incarnation was a little younger at 21, though she was set in a fixed time period of the early 1960s to coincide with the Space Race. This was a little restrictive in terms of what kinds of settings I could have her depicted in, so I've made her a little more flexible. Making her a sci-fi actor means that I can show her off in all kinds of wacky or kitschy space scenes, and making her a little older gives the ability for her to have a lot of "back catalogue".
Zvezda has two main hairstyles that she switches between. When her hair is down, the style is a reference to Jennifer from "Disgaea: Hour of Darkness". When her hair is tied up, the style is a reference to Samus in her Zero Suit form from "Metroid: Zero Mission".
The town of Leninsk is the location of the Baikonur Cosmodrome, where the majority of Soviet and Russian space flights have departed from.
